To say Australia is massive is a HUGE understatement.
Beach, desert, mountains, rainforest- our biodiversity is unmatched anywhere else in the world.
So why not avoid all the stresses of international travel and explore our own backyard, here in Australia.
See why travelling domestically (specifically caravan and camping…) is far superior to international travel here:
One of the best things about travelling domestically is the fact you don’t have to worry about foreign currency.
There’s no exchange rate stress or worry of getting cash exchanged, and you don’t have to learn the customs of another country’s payment methods.
Another benefit of travelling domestically is the reduced stress of no language barrier.
One of the toughest parts of international travel is managing travel in another language- so why not take out that stressful element and check out our own backyard?
In a post-Covid world, one of the harsh realities of international travel is the skyrocketing costs.
The cost of accommodation, food, and transportation is far lower when travelling domestically, and will put less strain on your hip pocket.
It has never been more expensive to travel overseas- so get out there and start exploring your options right here in Australia.
As Australians, our sense of community has always been strong.
So why not strengthen it and travel locally?
Get your camping gear ready and travel off-peak to a regional area and do something out of your comfort zone for your next holiday.
Meeting entry requirements and visa fees can be extremely disheartening when booking international travel.
It’s expensive and time-consuming- which you don’t want to experience when booking your holiday.
For a new experience- head interstate or get out of the big cities and see what Australia is truly made of.

we did a 3 month trip a few years ago. this year we are doing 6 months. We are camping or staying in a few 4 walls places. but not a caravan. We have camped all over southwest WA. Usually with a cub like group with children. But no longer do i have to crawl in and out of a tent. We have gone to an instant up tent and one i can stand in. This time we aren’t using camp matresses as we have camp stretchers for the first time.
