Kakadu National Park is a stunning world heritage site with cascading waterfalls, Aboriginal rock art, giant crocodiles and brimming with exotic wildlife. The next part of this great winter adventure is to journey South to Katherine. This region where “the Outback meets the tropics” is filled with stunning gorges and misty waterfalls. The region includes Nitmiluk National Park and Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge. The park boasts an impressive 13 gorges carved from the ancient sandstone country which stretch for as far as the eye can see.
