Whether you’re a seasoned astronomer or simply love looking up at the stars, here are some of the best spots around the country, as recommended by passionate stargazers.

New South Wales

Coonabarabran & Warrumbungle National Park

Known as the “Astronomy Capital of Australia,” Coonabarabran is a hotspot for space lovers, especially at Warrumbungle National Park. Alicia R., Debby N. and Dave B. highlighted this incredible location, home to the Siding Spring Observatory, where visitors can take part in telescope tours and night sky experiences.
