Check out all the different environmentally friendly camping options for you to visit in Victoria.

Acacia Caravan Park

Acacia Caravan Park is making active moves for sustainability in the caravan industry.

The 2022 VicParks Winner for the sustainability award, they are truly paving the way for the future of tourism.

Acacia Caravan Park negates the common problem of the irresponsible use of electricity in parks, with the use of ‘Sensibo’ split system Wi-Fi controllers in every park cabin.

The system enables them to remotely monitor and control room temperatures in real-time, reduces wear and tear on condensers and ensures guests walk into a cool room in summer or a warm toasty room in winter.

Amberlee Holiday Park

Amberlee Holiday Park has a water recycling plant to assist with reusing clients’ long hot shower water to produce A-grade grey water for grasslands, sites, and garden watering.

The property has a designated nature reserve for tourists, annuals, and residents to exercise and enjoy the beauty of the unique natural grass trees, eucalypts, banksia, and coastal tea trees.

Amberlee purchases and plants local indigenous native plants from local seeds each and every year and has a strict tree management program of burning and replacing diseased trees as well as a noxious weed program.

They were also a finalist in the 2022 VicParks Awards.
