Seeking Junior Explorers for Real Life Classroom

Category: News, Date: 24 July 2018

Do you have an inquisitive young person who’s keen to discover new places, uncover new facts and loves experiencing the wonders of the great outdoors?

Caravan Industry Association of Australia’s 2017 Real Richness report found that 94% of campers believe camping enables children to engage socially, 97% believe it allows children to learn about the environment, and 71% believe it improves their behaviour.

So, Caravan Industry Association of Australia in conjunction with our partners Tourism Central Australia, Apollo Motorhomes and Ted’s Cameras are giving 2 families and their enthusiastic Junior Explorer(s) the opportunity to bring the classroom to life and go on the ultimate school holiday in the outback, where you’ll live and breathe Australian history, geography, flora and fauna not to mention experience Australia’s rich indigenous culture. If you are enthusiastic, up for adventure and ready to capture and share some amazing experiences on video or by photo, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Each family and their junior explorer(s) will set off on a 28-day trip in an Apollo Motorhome with return economy flights to Alice Springs, $100 per day to spend, entry to show-stopping Outback tourism experiences and an incredible Ted’s Camera’s prize pack worth $2000 to help them document their trip.

The winners will document their four-week outback adventure and discoveries using their new Ted’s Cameras digital tools of the trade (including shock proof camera and drone) to create blog posts, photos and videos.
