Category: Inspiration, News, Date: 25 May 2022

It might not be September yet, but there’s never a bad time to get some spring cleaning and DIY done before your next camping trip.

Here are our top jobs and tips for sprucing up the caravan this winter.

Are you going camping these holidays? Comment below.

Fridge Storage

This might sound like an obvious pick- but there are so many ways to utilize the space in your fridge.

Buying storage containers to put in your products and/or leftovers is a game-changer.

Not only will it create more space in your fridge, but it’ll look more organized too.

Caravan Solar System

Heaps of campers are switching to solar, either as a back up resort or fully dependent.

It’s a great way to be a little more eco-friendly.

You can turn your caravan into an energy-making machine either through DIY or have it installed.

Re-Upholster

If the van is looking a little worn and tired, it could be a great opportunity to really spice up the van.

Get to fabric shopping, or simply just take a look online for new seat cushions and other relevant items.

Check the important stuff

Now for the not-so-fun part.

Making sure your van is roadworthy is a vital part before travelling anywhere.

Ensure you’ve also kept up with your towing knowledge before heading off anywhere.

Add plants

Quite often we can get bundled up in our vans and it can feel almost claustrophobic.

Adding in some greenery is a great way to make the space feel more fresh and open.

It might be worth your while investing in plants that don’t need a whole lot of sunlight too!

A fun trick is putting in a little herb garden by any windowsill available in the van- it adds some greenery and also perfect when cooking in the van.
