Road to a Million winners win big

Category: News, Date: 17 November 2022

The Road to a Million competition has sadly ended, but our winners left as grinners with an exciting take-home prize.

On November 10th- we celebrated the end of the competition with our mates over at Channel 7’s Sunrise breakfast program and gave our winning family an interesting challenge…

The winning family, Amy, Peter, Aoibhe and Cara, were all treated to an overnight stay at the fantastic Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park to celebrate the big win.

“I love getting to spend quality time together, no devices around and you have time to go off on adventures and experiences together. Just sitting around the campfire and having a chat and eating dinner is what we enjoy,” said Amy.

Amy was offered a 1 in 250 chance to win the million- and we took our unique spin on the challenge.

We took the spa pool at the Big4 Gold Coast holiday park- and filled it with 250 rubber ducks!

Amy had a 1 in 250 chance to win

Each duck was listed from 1-250, with one having the lucky number: 227!

Like a great sport, Amy hopped straight in the pool and went hunting for her lucky duck, going for number 198.

Whilst our winners unfortunately didn’t win the million, they didn’t go home empty handed.

Our winning family went home with an exciting $5000 take home prize- which they plan to use on an exciting adventure back to Ireland for the Christmas holidays.

Currently, Amy and the gang are planning to take a camping trip to Bribie Island in the coming weeks with her highly valued camping essential: the handy and convenient air-fryer.

“We got into it a few years ago and just totally fell in love with it. We try to go once a month, we’re huge caravan and campers,” she said.

“It’s just really relaxing and we love being in the outdoors,” she said.
