March is well known in Adelaide as the time that the city comes alive with a stream of world-class events coupled with fabulous weather and an atmosphere that is palpable on the streets!

Firstly, there is the Adelaide Fringe which is the biggest arts festival in the southern hemisphere and is running from 21 February to 23 March 2025. Featuring a diverse range of acts, comedians and plays across numerous locations throughout the town, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Fringe. Whether you like to plan your shows in advance or just stroll through The Garden Of Unearthly Delights to see what takes your fancy, The Fringe consistently delivers something that will be both memorable and mind-blowing!

Crossing over with The Fringe is the Adelaide Festival from 28 February to 16 March delivering a variety of theatre, opera, music, dance, visual art and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the most original and acclaimed artists working in the world today. The festival’s meticulously curated program also includes Australia’s largest free literary festival – Adelaide Writers’ Week.

WOMADelaide

Womadelaide which began in 1992 and is on from March 7 to March 10 in 2025, will bring its own unique music, dance, arts and food from all around the world into the heart of Adelaide at the Botanic Gardens. A strong sense of community will no doubt once again be created, as music lovers from interstate and overseas descend on Womadelaide to sing and dance over 4 magical days.

Also on in the Botanic Gardens, is the Chihuly Garden Cycle exhibition which will be showing until April 29 2025. Exclusive to Adelaide, this highly unique program showcases vibrant large-scale glass sculptures dotted through meandering pathways. Chihuly is able to be seen during the day, but even more spectacularly on balmy evenings, throughout Adelaide’s stunning city gardens.

There are numerous SA Parks member caravan and holiday parks that are close to all of these events such as Adelaide Caravan Park, Adelaide Showground Caravan Park, Echo Holiday Park – Windsor Gardens and Brighton Beachfront Holiday Park.
