NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Park will make a splash this summer with a large new waterpark set to open by Christmas.
Guests will love the thrill of the three-metre high waterslide, and lap up the fun of the mega soaker bucket with 300 litres dumping every two minutes.
Suitable for all ages, the waterpark has several features designed for kids including sneaky soaker buckets, and spraying leaves with gentle sprays.
NRMA Head of Holiday Parks’, David Birch, said, “the waterpark is a fantastic new addition for visitors and provides fun activities for all families in addition to an already huge range of facilities at NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Park.
“NRMA Holiday Parks are always focused on providing affordable family fun experiences and quality accommodation, and the new kids waterpark certainly delivers and caters to our guests’ experiences at the NRMA Holiday Park.”
The waterpark is the latest in design from Australian company Parkequip and has been specifically designed to appeal to children of all ages while also being water and energy efficient.
A 20,000 litre balance tank recycles water every 25 minutes with an ‘on and off’ sequence, saving both water and power.
NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Park is a 4.5 star property, located on the coastline of Short Point on the New South Wales south coast, just minutes from Merimbula’s town centre.
Park guests can enjoy a range of accommodation from caravanning and camping sites to self-contained cabins and villas, many boasting uninterrupted beach and ocean views. The park also features a range of facilities for guests including kids club, camp kitchens, pools, jumping pillows, a tennis court and more.
