150’000 travel vouchers up for grabs

What is it?

The Victorian state government has announced they’ll be giving away 150’000 travel vouchers for eager Victorian travellers.

As of March 23 at 11am, residents will be able to apply for the travel vouchers that will offer discounts and deals for your travels around the state.

Who can apply for the travel vouchers?

Any Victorian resident can apply for the travel vouchers.

The government has announced it’s a first-come-first-serve event, so get in quick.

The first 10’000 tickets will be available to seniors from 10am Tuesday the 15th and will be chosen by a random ballot.

Applicants must currently hold a valid Victorian Seniors Card or Seniors Business Discount Card.

What’s the catch?

To score one of these vouchers, you’ll need to spend a minimum of $400 and stay for at least two nights in your paid accommodation.

The vouchers will also only be valid for travel from April 8 to May 27.

Seniors will however be able to apply for a $200 reimbursement if they spend more than $400 on paid accommodation, tours and/or experiences.
