Feature: New Shack kiosk at Discovery Parks – West Beach Parks
Every day caravan park owners and staff are busy working on maintaining and improving their parks, but many do go the extra mile to deliver something new for their first time or returning guests, to make their staying experience just that bit more fabulous. Right now, many South Australian parks are putting the finishing touches on their new and improved accommodation, sites, facilities and amenities. Some are even giving their local town a hand to improve the broader community for everyone.
For example, in Adelaide, Discovery Parks – West Beach Parks have recently expanded their Shack kiosk and are providing new on-site dining options, a coffee service delivering barista brews straight to guests’ doors and a brand-new toddler pool is set to open in January 2026.
Also in suburban Adelaide, Marion Holiday Park has installed a brand-new outdoor cinema screen with surround sound system, just in time for balmy nights in their outdoor dining area.

At the base of the Adelaide foothills, Brownhill Creek Tourist Park have given their camp kitchen a makeover and it’s looking the goods with all new appliances, furniture, big screen TV and tonnes of space, the kitchen even overlooks the enclosed playground so the kids can play while parents cook.
Further into the hills, Big4 Barossa Tourist Park is now offering guests access to a Barossa Co-op membership so that guests can not only save on their shopping throughout their stay but also benefit from other nearby services, which can deliver directly to the park.

Along the Limestone Coast, Beachport Caravan Park have freshly upgraded their amenities, with clean, modern upgrades in their camp kitchen and laundry rooms which is sure to improve everyone’s stay. At Cape Jaffa Holiday Park, the owners have recently invested in their laundry with updated equipment and the local jetty has been thoughtfully repaired in time for summer.

While Blue Lake Holiday Park has a brand-new bright blue pump track perfect for bikes and scooters plus a new pickle ball and half basketball court, providing hours of fun and fitness for the whole family.

But no matter which SA Park you choose to travel to this summer from the Eyre Peninsula in the west to the Riverlands in the east, you’re sure to experience a well maintained, constantly improving and hospitable space to lay your hat for a well-earned break over the upcoming warmer months.
