Alicia H. and her beautiful family from a small coastal town in Northern NSW had an unforgettable day on Tuesday, April 8, as they headed to Broadwater Tourist Park for the exciting Road to a Million Chance Draw. With a shot at up to $1,000,000, Alicia had to make a big decision—go all in on a single number for the million-dollar prize or spread her chances across more picks for smaller jackpots.
After some family deliberation, they went with four lucky numbers, putting them in the running for a $250,000 prize. While their numbers didn’t hit the jackpot, the family still walked away with $5,000 in cash—all for enjoying a camping trip this summer!
Alicia and her crew are no strangers to adventure. With tweens, teens, and their two much-loved doggos Jasper and Max, the family loves exploring the coastlines of NSW and QLD. From the creeks and rainforests of Sawtell and Coffs Harbour to their all-time favourite spot, Lennox Head, they’re all about beach days, paddle boarding, and dog-friendly holidays.
While they don’t own a van (yet!), Alicia says caravan parks are their go-to for weekend escapes and kids’ sporting trips.
“We love the space, the community vibe, and all the little activities that keep the kids busy,” she shared.
Their recent stay at Moonee Beach Reflections represented exactly what they love about camping— beautiful waterfront views, roasting marshmallows at the firepit, grabbing a hot coffee after a refreshing swim, and pet-friendly vibes that kept the whole family happy.
Despite not winning the million-dollar-jackpot, the Road to a Million experience left Alicia’s family richer in stories, smiles, and a solid boost to the family’s dream West Coast Getaway fund!
