Massive Adelaide Events On The Horizon

This February sees two huge events bring Adelaide to life!

Firstly, there is the insanely popular LIV Golf running from February 12 to 15 providing a new energy to the evergreen game of golf. Secondly, is the event that just keeps on getting better and better each year, the Adelaide Fringe. Running from February 20 to March 22 ‘The Fringe’ promises something completely new each year and never disappoints in providing entertainment across theatre, cabaret, comedy, music, visual arts and more.

There is also the fabulous Garden Of Unearthly Delights which opens from 13 Feb and runs until the end of the Adelaide Fringe, providing a place to meet, eat and spontaneously head into a show or two.

If sporting culture is more your idea of fun, then why not visit SA to watch Australia and India go head-to-head in the Women’s Cricket T20I Series at the iconic Adelaide Oval on Saturday 21 Feb. This is sure to be a cracker-jack game with the rivalry between these two teams inspiring both to play at another level every time they meet.

Following the cricket, you could head to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival from February 28 to March 1 where you’ll see an automobile museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles in the Adelaide Park Lands and surrounds. You’ll be able to see various categories of vehicles on track every 10 to 15 minutes from historic Formula 1 cars to sportscars, hypercars, touring cars and more.

Throw in perfect SA summer weather and the reasons just keep piling up to travel to South Australia this February.

There are numerous SA Parks member caravan and holiday parks that are close to all of these events such as Adelaide Caravan Park, Adelaide Showground Caravan Park, Discovery Parks – West Beach Parks, Echo Holiday Park – Windsor Gardens, Marion Holiday Park and Brighton Beachfront Holiday Park.
