The Great Barrier Reef

Taking a visit to The Great Barrier Reef is a great way to holiday and be eco-friendly.

By travelling to the GBR, you’re boosting the tourism revenue which will ultimately be put toward reserving the reef and the community around it.

However, keep in mind to wear reef-safe sunscreen to ensure your only helping the reef and not harming it.

Another Queensland attraction, the Daintree Rainforest is another spot perfect for being eco-friendly.

Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area

The western side of Tasmania is a global phenomenon.

With all the rain this small part of the nation receives, it has bloomed into a beautiful rainforest unlike anywhere else in the world.

This 705,015-hectare heritage-listed area is the perfect spot on the Western Coast for a eco-friendly holiday.

The Ningaloo Reef is not only visually stunning- but absolutely vital for our marine life.
