The South Australian Living Arts (SALA) Festival is back this August, and it is once again bringing the ultimate celebration of visual art, state-wide in South Australia. The festival will feature the work of 8,000 South Australian artists, across hundreds of visual art exhibitions, throughout the entire state of SA.
Running from Aug 1-31st, events will include panel discussions, bus tours to exhibitions, open art/sketch nights for the public, street art tours and much more. You can find more information on all the events and exhibitions in your area on the SALA website.
The SALA festival is state-wide, for the entire month of August and offers the perfect excuse to explore and enjoy the beauty of South Australia as the season changes from Winter to Spring. Next stop is Adelaide Hills. Although a smaller wine region, it is still home to more than 50 wineries, so there is no shortage of options. Shaw + Smith and Penfolds Magill are popular choices however, during the SALA festival the region will also feature stunning the Rustic Sculptures of Hayden and the unique Stone Sculptures of the SA Stone Sculpture Association.

Barossa is one of the larger wine regions in South Australia, with 80 cellar doors and 150 wineries!
