Community Welcomes RVs: Port Vincent

Category: News, Date: 11 December 2018

Port Vincent is a popular seaside town 200kms from Adelaide on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula. The picturesque bay is safe haven for yachts and water activities including kyaking, snorkelling, sailing, paddle boarding, jet and water skiing. The safe swimming beach is perfect for young families and for older children there is a pontoon to swim off, while the wharf is popular for the more adventurous. The wharf is also great for fishing and crabbing. For those with a boat the Port Vincent Marina has an all weather boat ramp and there is beach launching next to the Sailing Club on Marine Parade.

For walkers there are trails north and south of the town and Port Vincent is included in the ‘Walk the Yorke Trail’ which traverses the whole of Yorke Peninsula.

The two caravan parks in Port Vincent have fabulous beachfront locations and the newly refurbished hotel and cafes offer some great options for eating out. A host of other facilities and services are available in Port Vincent including kayak and paddle boat hire and fishing and boating supplies.

Port Vincent is a beautiful seaside township great to visit for water activities, rest and relaxation, or to use a base to explore the picturesque Yorke Peninsula.
