Caravans to provide temporary accommodation amid flood crisis

120 motorhomes have been dispersed around Northern NSW in attempts to provide medium-term accommodation for flood affected communities.

Lismore it’ the surrounding areas, which were heavily impacted by the flooding, have been deemedpriority.

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet announced a $10M package for the supply and maintenance of temporary accommodation through caravans earlier in the week.

The NSW Rural Fire Service is also offering volunteer drivers to help move the caravans to the affected areas.
