A new study has found that Australians are officially working too hard.
The data shows that Australians accrued leave days have reached a record high, with almost 175 million days of annual leave due.
The Roy Morgan data showed 6.6 million workers (52% of paid workers) have at least 2 weeks of annual leave due.
An astonishing 1.62 million are recorded to have 2-3 weeks leave due.
But that’s not all..
The data is showing a whopping 1.37 million Australians (10% of workers to put into perspective) have at least 7 weeks of annual leave due.
The CIAA Health and Wellness report has shown camping to be a good way to reduce stress.
Campers are competitively happier, more satisfied, optimistic and energised than non-camper.
Not only that, but campers are less stressed, bored, frustrated and lonely than non-campers.
If you find yourself in one of the statistics shown above, consider taking some time off for a camping and caravan holiday.
Not only will this reduce stress levels, but its a great way to bond with family and friends. In fact, research shows 85% of campers felt closer to their spouse/partner compared to 65% of non-campers.
