Let’s Go Caravan and Camping has teamed up with renowned Australian photographer Sean Scott to launch Australia Unfiltered, a national photography competition built for the caravanners and campers who live this lifestyle every single day. You already know the moments that matter. Now it’s time to share them.
You don’t need to be a professional photographer to enter (although the more the merrier if you are). You can just be someone who’s caught a piece of the magic, whether that’s the mates you’ve made around the fire, the sunset over your favourite site, or the rig that’s taken you further than you ever thought it would.
We’re looking for the special moments that happen in and around Australia’s caravan parks, the breathtaking locations you’ve discovered along the way, and the caravans, campers and motorhomes that have carried you there. If it captures why you love this life, we want to see it.
Park Life Unfiltered is for the moments that happen inside the fence line. Sunrise walks past the amenities block. Kids making friends two sites over. The camp chair, the coffee, the golden hour glow. If it was captured within an Australian caravan or holiday park, this is your category.
The Camp Setup Unfiltered is all about the rig itself. Your van parked up on that hidden beach. Your camper tucked into the outback at dusk. Your tent pitched somewhere you never thought you’d end up. Wherever you are, if your caravan, camper trailer, motorhome, RV or campsite setup is in the shot, this one’s yours.
Pick the category your photo belongs to when you enter, and you’ll automatically go into the running for our People’s Choice Prize too. Park Life Unfiltered and Camp Setup Unfiltered will feature finalists from each state, who go in the running to take home the major prizes.
Your photos will be judged by Sean Scott, an award winning landscape and ocean photographer, Canon Master and Tourism Australia Ambassador who has spent more than twenty years photographing this country’s coastlines, outback and wild places. As competition ambassador, Sean is backing everyday Australians to get out there and capture the real thing.
Australia Unfiltered runs across spring and summer, from October through to February, with a major prize pool worth thousands of dollars up for grabs for our overall winners. Plus, we’re running monthly prizes throughout the competition, so there are plenty of chances to be in it to win it along the way.
