Ngilgi Cave Yallingup: A Must-See in WA’s South-West

Located in Yallingup, Ngilgi Cave is a true must-see destination of the south-west. The pristine chambers have formed beneath the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, a limestone formation approximately 90 kilometres long and 3 kilometres wide. Wander through native bushland before heading underground to interactive installations and winding pathways that bring this spectacular place to life. 

Ngilgi also holds deep cultural significance for the Wadandi people, the Traditional Custodians of this land. Local guides share Dreaming stories that connect the cave’s natural formations with spiritual traditions, offering a powerful perspective on Country and culture. Families will also enjoy features such as crawl tunnels and interpretive zones, while adults can marvel at the glittering Amphitheatre chamber. 

The entire above- and below-ground experience takes about 1.5 hours and is self-guided. Afterwards, you’re free to explore the stunning town of Yallingup.
