We travelled inland from Warrnambool to get to our next destination at Barwon Heads purely because whilst the Great Ocean Road is super impressive. It twists and turns the entire way and there are often cars pulling up to enjoy the scenery.
We’ve booked 2 weeks at Barwon Heads Caravan Park as our next big move will be heading to Melbourne to jump on the Spirit of Tasmania.
With plenty of the great ocean road still to see we spent another day travelling the coast stopping at lookouts and visiting some iconic places like Bells beach and the Cape Otway Lighthouse.
Col spent a bit of time fixing some of those niggling issues like the car awning which had a bent pole courtesy of some gusts of wind back in Victor Harbour, he also rigged up a playground (as Evie called it) which consisted of a swing and a swinging pole. Amazing the countless hours the kids spend on them so hopefully we get more campsites with the right trees for the job!
