My time in Rockhampton was great! I did a big 10 kilometre skate from the park, to the zoo, to the botanical gardens even went to a skate park for the first time since I was a kid. I went to my first rodeo as well which was awesome. The cutest thing was seeing 3 year olds doing their first rodeo and just loving it, they were all done up in their rodeo gear.
After Rockhampton I headed to Yeppoon to the NRMA Capricorn Yeppoon Holiday Park. There was a great waterslide which I went down like a big kid! I was there for two nights and it was great, they had an outdoor cinema there as well and there’s a really nice beach there as well. It would be a great place to go with kids!
After Yeppoon, I headed to Cape Hillsborough. I only had one night there so I woke up really early for the sunrise; it’s one of the biggest attractions to see at Cape Hillsborough. It comes up right over this little island there and the wallabies and kangaroos come to the beach every single morning. It was amazing and a definite highlight!
