This round of the Follow the Sun Relay has sadly come to an end. The Big Lap has been completed, with the help of our wonderful Relay participants!
Our FTS participants came from all walks of life, including couples, parents and kids, a mum and daughter team, and solo traveller Wes.
The relay began in June 2018 at the Queensland Caravan Camping and Touring Supershow in Brisbane, where our first explorers began their trip. The Winnebago motorhome will travelled around Australia and then returned to the same venue one year later.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO Stuart Lamont said the relay would showcase Australia and the beauty of caravan and camping holidays to the world.
“Participants will be given the keys to the motorhome, campervan or four-wheel drive and asked to share stories, videos, photos and fun moments from their trip,” he said.
“They will travel all around the country and really show people some of the amazing things they can experience on a caravan and camping holiday.”
Cookbook author and motivational speaker Annette Sym launched the first leg of the relay.
