Restrictions on entering remote Aboriginal communities lifted
Category: News Date: 15 Jun 2022
Travel restrictions have lifted in remote Aboriginal communities. However, it’s important to remember some remote communities may choose to apply their own restrictions to keep their community safe.
If you’re planning on travelling to or via a remote community, please don’t turn up unannounced. Always check with a community if there’s restrictions on entry before travelling.
It’s also a good idea to keep a mask with you when travelling and continue practising good hygiene habits like washing your hands regularly and covering coughs.
