An introduction to our lucky family, also known as the Travelling Family Circus. Throughout the week our adventurers will explore Tasmania while caravan and camping. Day one of the Real Life Classroom sees our adventurers introduce themselves, mum, dad and three boys. There is no better classroom than the outdoor classroom.
Our family are on their way and have taken their Apollo Motorhome on another road trip. Today they are learning all about native Australian / Tasmanian wildlife and yes, you guessed it, no trip would to Tassie would be complete without seeing the world famous Tassie Devil. Watch today’s video to learn all about the Tassie Devil, how it has faced extinction more than a few times and see the native Tasmanian Roos that are friendlier and fluffier apparently than their mainland cousins.
Our family have made their way out of Hobart to the Huon Valley. Today they are learning all about the Wooden Boat Centre Tasmania. The Davenport family are in for some hands on learning about Tasmania’s rich boat building and maritime heritage. Then onto Port Arthur to live like a convict, the adventure continues!
Today’s lesson is all about dinosaurs, and luckily, these ancient reptiles are the boys favourite topic! The family have journeyed to Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery to explore the Dinosaur rEvolution: Secrets of Survival Exhibition! Based out of Discovery Parks Hobart the family have been jetting around to local activities in their Apollo Motorhome, making it the most convenient learning adventure ever!
