The Let’s Go teams, ‘Road to a Million Campaign’ partnered with Channel 7’s Sunrise, and let us tell you – it was an absolute blast!

Host, Katie Brown, led us on a journey through some of Australia’s most breathtaking holiday parks, and the best part? We got to soak in all of the fun while having a shot at winning a whopping $1,000,000!

As we tuned in to Sunrise on Channel 7 from the 7th to the 9th of November, the caravan and camping dream came to life right on our screens.

It wasn’t just about watching someone else’s adventure; it was about living every moment of the caravan lifestyle.

Over three days, Katie went on a road trip throughout the picturesque SE Queensland and Northern NSW.

Check out each day below!

Day 1- BIG4 Caloundra Holiday Park

The day at BIG4 Caloundra Holiday Park kicked off with an exhilarating pancake fundraiser breakfast, setting the tone for a day filled with camaraderie and adventure. Picture this: flipping pancakes surrounded by fellow adventurers, creating a magical and lively atmosphere that lingered throughout the day.

Adding to the excitement, guest star Piglet, stole the spotlight, scampering around in her Barbie car and adding an extra layer of joy to the festivities.

The jumping pillow became Katie’s playground as she bounced away with infectious energy, later indulging in a thrilling go-kart race that sent waves of excitement through the air.

But it wasn’t just about the activities; it was an immersive experience.

Amidst the laughter and cheers, delicious cake made its appearance, adding a sweet touch to the already delightful day.

From the sizzling pancakes to the go-kart races, every moment was woven together seamlessly, creating a cohesive tapestry of fun and unforgettable memories at BIG4 Caloundra Holiday Park.

Day 2- Esk Caravan Park

Embarking on the next leg of our adventure, the Esk Caravan Park welcomed us with open arms, and the fun only escalated!

Katie Brown, a maestro behind the wheel, took control of a vintage 1954 Viscount Pickup Van with the parks beloved “Rusty the Caravan”, charmingly beeping her way through the park (very early in the morning…).

As the morning went on, the air filled with the irresistible aroma of locally brewed coffee.

But the culinary spectacle was just beginning, with skilled chefs from Esk cooking up a storm; the succulent quail and the intriguing delight of wagyu bacon left no one with an empty stomach.

The finale was nothing short of magical – the local Esk choir serenading us with a fantastic song that echoed through the day.

Every step in Esk unfolded naturally, weaving together laughter, diverse flavours, and the charming tunes of a local choir.

It wasn’t some overly orchestrated adventure; it just flowed.

And when it all wrapped up, the memories felt as genuine as the experiences that created them.

Day 3- North Star Holiday Resort

The crescendo of our journey landed us at the North Star Holiday Resort in Hastings Point, NSW, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of spectacular.

Our day kicked off at the aquatic centre, a haven where kids delved into the secrets of the sea.

Katie led the charge, seamlessly transitioning to the lively Neptune’s Castle Kids Club, where the mini disco and the antics of Shorty Brown the Clown turned the day into a memory-making extravaganza.

It was like a travelling carnival, each moment bubbling over with infectious joy and laughter.

Following the lively festivities, Katie indulged in some well-deserved relaxation with a morning at the spa, courtesy of the park’s facilities. A blissful neck massage set the tone for what was already an unforgettable day.

Our next stop was the park’s ginormous water park, a scene of anticipation as everyone gathered, eagerly awaiting the giant bucket to tip and drench the excitement-filled crowd.

But the fun didn’t stop there!

The day reached its grand finale with a spirited giant bike race and a special feature from the park’s knitting community.

From sea secrets to water park thrills, spa serenity, and community camaraderie, every piece of our adventure at North Star seamlessly stitched together for a day that was not just memorable but a downright blast!
