The caravan and camping lifestyle allows trail-goers to experience the ultimate freedom of the open road, with the added bonus of being able to attend Oasis Afternoon on April 13 in St George, Light It Up at the Outback River Lights Festival on April 15 in Cunnamulla, The Big Base Party on April 19 – 20 in Charleville, and finishing with The Sundowner on April 21 in Tambo.

Aside from that, there is On the Road with The Barleyshakes Duo along the way throughout the event that is free to attend.

With the Outback Trail’s collection of five unique experiences, there’s plenty of opportunities to immerse oneself in the local culture, music and landscapes.

This event is available for all ages.

Each stop along the trail provides different experiences, such as exploring the glistening Balonne River in St George, enjoying mud baths in Eulo, learning about Charleville’s heritage and history at the newly refurbished WWII Secret Base Museum, or grabbing a loved one a Tambo Teddy souvenir in Tambo.

Trail-goers can also connect with fellow travellers and locals at inclusive jam sessions and collaborate in a new piece about life on the road.

Caravan and camping enthusiasts can truly embrace the freedom of the road and the beauty of the outback with the Queensland Music Trails’ Outback Trail.

The event promises to deliver unforgettable experiences, uncover local stories and provide a chance to explore some of the most unique and remote towns in the state.

So pack up the caravan or camping gear, and hit the road for an adventure like no other.
