Between busy schedules, competing priorities and the demands of everyday life, it can often be challenging to take the time to focus on a healthy lifestyle.

So throughout Jean Hailes’ Women’s Health Week 2019 (September 2-6), women around Australia are being encouraged to do exactly that.

There are many activities women can take part in to boost improve health and wellbeing, including taking part in caravan and camping trips, which can be beneficial for both physical and mental health!

Caravan Industry Association of Australia’s Real Richness report revealed those who regularly go on caravan and camping trips are happier, more satisfied, optimistic and energised than non-campers.

The report also found:

  • 94% of campers believe camping can help recharge your batteries
  • 83% of campers believe camping makes them feel healthier
  • 85% of campers said camping allows them to gather their thoughts

Not only are caravan and camping trips a fantastic way for women to switch off, reconnect with family and recharge their batteries; these trips are also a fantastic way to enjoy a healthy and active outdoor lifestyle!

So what are you waiting for? Sounds like it’s time to take a camping trip – it’s for your health!
