Happy Campers Series

Episode 12 – First Camping Date

A camping holiday hasn’t been a test for us it’s been good.

Going away together when you have only just started dating certainly can challenge a relationship but so far so good for Dan Wehrung and Allie Morrissey from Ballarat. We found them enjoying a little bit of sun and each other’s company while they were sitting back with a cup of tea at the Merry Beach Caravan Resort on the NSW South Coast. A very relaxed Dan said “We’d been together a few months and thought we’d jump into Allie’s nan’s van and come up the coast to chill out for a week.”

Happy Campers delves into the personal stories of a range of people who love caravanning and camping. Each short episode asks why they camp, how they like to go about it and what connects them to caravan life. These happy campers give us a glimpse into why camping has a special place in their hearts.

Keep tuning in to Happy Campers and share the journeys that show why caravanning and camping offers so much more than any other holiday experience. It’s about the people, the connection, the adventure and the heart!

Wish it was my family doing this

  2. Good post. I learn something new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon everyday.

It’s always interesting to read articles from other
writers and use a little something from other web sites.

  3. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my
4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to
her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally
off topic but I had to tell someone!

Did this many years ago, with young babies. A great experience. 30 + years on, great to see others still doing and loving it.
