Caravan Industry Association of Australia is pleased to present the latest in our ‘Caravan and camping with the stars’ video series. Throughout the series, we sit down with well-known Australians as they share some of their favourite caravan and camping memories.
This episode features Ben Tullipan, Ben and Kerrie recently completed a leg on the Dometic Follow the Sun Relay with their family. Ben is Australia’s worst injured survivor of the 2002 Bali Bombings Terrorist Attacks, losing both his legs, most of his stomach muscles and received 63% full thickness burns to his body. Ben has been awarded a multitude of awards from the 2006 Pride of Australia Medal for Courage, 2008 Gold Coast Citizen of the Year, he graced the cover of the 2010 Gold Coast White Pages as a Courageous Australian, and was named 2016 Queensland Father of the Year as well as being a Finalist in the 2016 United Nations Volunteer Awards.
