Caravan to a Million Winner Revealed: Meet the Lucky Family! 

Katy G and her husband Scott, along with their two kids—a 7-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl—and their Cavoodle, Teddy, are the primary winners in our “Caravan to a Million” competition! With a fantastic prize of $10,000 guaranteed, Katy will now have the chance to win the million-dollar draw.

Earlier this year, the family attended the Brisbane Caravan and Camping Supershow. When their tent broke on a recent camping trip, their interest in caravanning was sparked. 

“We don’t currently own a caravan,” said Katy. “But after attending the show, it has definitely inspired me to look into it further. The kids had the best time, exploring almost every display!” 

Long-Time Campers 

For 12 years, Katy’s family has been enjoying their tent set-up while camping. They love beach camping at Stradbroke Island (Straddie) and staying at beautiful locations like Bigriggen Park Rathdowney and Noosa. 

“Beach camping is always a favourite, particularly Straddie,” Katy shared. “The kids love getting away on a camping holiday, enjoying the outdoors, toasting marshmallows by the fire, and spending time with family and friends.”  

This October, they plan to hire a caravan for a trip to Borumba Deer Park. It’s a chance to test their towing and setup skills before potentially buying their own caravan. 

The Million Dollar Draw 

Katy’s entry was drawn in the “Caravan to a Million” competition. As the first person drawn, she has a 1 in 250 chance to win the million-dollar prize. 

The final draw will take place at the Caravanning Queensland Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo in Nambour on August 16th. Katy will have the chance to pick a number between 1 and 250 for her shot at the million dollars. 

Katy says if they win the million, it will go towards buying their dream caravan and planning more unforgettable holidays. If Katy doesn’t win the million dollars, she still walks away with a $10,000 cash prize!
